What is The Global Engagement Summit?
GES is a five-day Summit offering delegates the opportunity to participate in speaker events, workshops, and mentorship sessions with world-class professionals from across industries. Our programming is designed to help delegates scale their projects, and elevate their startups to the next level.
“The GES experience has been the most rewarding of all the international programs I have joined. It has opened my eyes to social entrepreneurship and nonprofit social impact work and introduced me to inspiring delegates and GES members and their outstanding work.”
- Myoh Minn Oo: Founder of Bamboo Delight Summer Youth Camp
Who plans the Summit?
The Summit is planned by a team of 60 undergraduate students at Northwestern University. All year, our staff works tirelessly to plan the Summit; from recruiting delegates to inviting speakers and facilitators to creating merchandise. Our job is to ensure the Summit is tailor-made to our delegates, providing the best experience possible.
Our Story.
In 2005, two Northwestern students had a vision of connecting and empowering students to address pressing social needs through entrepreneurship and innovation. From this, The Global Engagement Summit was born.
